Cancellation Policy
Watagan Dental Booking Policy At Watagan Dental, we prioritize your time and aim to deliver a seamless, stress-free experience. Our booking policy ensures efficient scheduling and exceptional care for all patients. Please review these guidelines when booking your appointment. 1. Appointment Scheduling How to Book: Schedule appointments online at watagandental.com.au, by calling our Cooranbong office at (02) 4977 1222, or in person during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM). Confirmation: A confirmation email or SMS will be sent with appointment details and any preparation instructions. 2. New Patients Welcome Process: New patients must complete a medical history form (online or in-office) before their first visit. Initial Visit: We recommend a comprehensive exam and cleaning to create a personalized treatment plan. Health Funds: We accept all major health funds. Provide insurance details at booking for coverage verification. 3. Cancellations and Rescheduling Notice Period: Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling to free up slots for other patients. How to Cancel: Contact us via phone, SMS, or email. You’ll receive confirmation of cancellation or new appointment details. Late Cancellations/No-Shows: Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed appointments incur a $75 fee, except in emergencies (e.g., illness, family issues). 4. Late Arrivals Grace Period: Arriving over 15 minutes late may require rescheduling, as is treated as a late cancellation with a $75 fee however, we will try to accommodate late arrivals, subject to schedule availability. 5. Patient Preparation Health and Safety: Inform us of changes in medical history, allergies, or medications before your appointment to ensure safe care. 6. Payment and Insurance Payment Options: Pay via cash, credit/debit cards, or health fund claims. Payment plans are available for extensive treatments—ask when booking. Health Fund Claims: HICAPS claims are processed on-site for instant rebates from participating funds. 7. Accessibility and Inclusivity Convenient Location: Our Cooranbong office offers free parking and wheelchair access. Starting June 2025, our mobile dental service will bring care to you.
