First and foremost, I am a dad. I love spending time with my family, being outside and giving the green thumb a workout with my 2-year-old son in our garden bed. He is an energetic little guy always keeping me on my toes. My daughter who is only a few months old showers me with smiles which just melts the heart. I cannot forget my amazing wife who puts up with my obsession with dentistry.
When it comes to dentistry, its my passion. I enjoy sitting with my patients and having a chat. Providing you with the best dental experience is always my goal. I like to take the time to explain all options so you can get the best treatment tailored to your circumstances.

I am trained in myofunctional therapy through the International Association for Orofacial Myology. I have also attained my MRACDS(PDS) from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Orthodontics (UK) as well as a Diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics (UJI).
As a general dentist I see kids every 6 months. This allows me to monitor and intervene throughout a child’s development when needed. My connections with many medical and dental specialists with a special interest in these area’s also puts me in a unique position to provide a multidisciplinary approach to treatment.

After completing school in 2010 I started out studying chemical engineering and quickly found out that it’s not what I wanted to do. The following year I started studying Dentistry and love it and graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2016.
I’ve strived to develop my knowledge of all aspects of dentistry. This has led to me completing multiple post graduate courses including a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Orthodontics (UK), a Diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics (UJI) and Diploma in Implantology (UJI). I always wanted to give back to the community that I grew up in which led to us opening up Watagan Dental which is just down the road from the school I attended.

I was born and grew up in Lake Macquarie and started working as a Dental Assistant after I finished high school. I soon found out I loved working in the dental field. I decided to take my studies further, and moved to Brisbane to study Oral Health, and on completion of my degree, I returned home at the end of 2003. I have also completed a Certificate of Attainment in Adult Restorations in 2020 through the University of Sydney.
I am a mother to three beautiful daughters, who keep me busy outside of work. I enjoy cooking, and love to sit down and relax with one of my many cookbooks! And when time allows, I love being outside on our beautiful lake - either in a boat or paddleboarding.
But when I am at work my focus is purely on my patients and improving their oral health. I take pride in making my patients feel comfortable and at ease. I always aim to make my appointments and enjoyable experience.

I started my work in the dental industry back in 2006 as a dental assistant on the Mid North Coast. After several years of dental assisting I decided I would like to take my career further & studied a Bachelor of Oral Health and a Graduate Diploma Dental Therapy at University of Newcastle in Ourimbah, graduating in 2014. I have worked in both public and private dental clinics since, as well as clinical supervision of students at the University of Newcastle.
I find my passion lies in the philosophy of ‘prevention is better than a cure,’ and I aim to bring this to every appointment. I love to help patients feel comfortable in the dental setting, tailoring treatments to individual needs.
When I am not in the dental clinic, I will be with my 2 young kids and family. I love reading (anything and everything usually!) and trying to get out into the garden or spending some time doing something creative most days (much easier said than done!).
