Restore Your Smile With Dental Implants

30 minWatagan Dental Office

Service Description

Restore your smile with confidence using our expertly placed dental implants, a durable and natural-looking solution for replacing missing teeth. Delivered by our skilled general dentistry team, this multi-step process ensures a secure, long-lasting result tailored to your needs. Comprehensive Dental Exam Requirement: A comprehensive dental exam, including a full set of 2D dental X-rays, is required before any treatment commences to ensure a safe and tailored approach. If you have not had a comprehensive exam within the last 6 months, one will be performed prior to starting the implant process to assess your oral health, bone structure, and suitability for implants. Dental Implant Procedure: If the implant treatment has already been planned for following a recent exam, we’ll proceed with the multi-step process: Initial Consultation and Planning Appointment: We’ll gather detailed records, including digital scans and 3D imaging, to plan the precise placement of your implant. Our team will create a personalized treatment plan, discussing the number of implants, timeline, and restoration options (e.g., crown, bridge). Implant Placement Appointment: In this surgical appointment, our skilled dentists will place the titanium implant post into your jawbone under local anesthesia. A healing period (typically a few months) follows to allow the implant to integrate with the bone. A temporary restoration may be provided during this time. Restoration Appointment: Once the implant has fully integrated, we’ll place the final custom-crafted restoration (e.g., a crown) in a follow-up appointment. The restoration is securely attached to the implant, ensuring a natural appearance, comfortable fit, and full functionality. Comfort and Precision: We prioritize your comfort with advanced techniques, sedation options if needed, and a supportive environment throughout the process. Each step is carefully planned for optimal outcomes. Post-Treatment Guidance: You’ll receive a detailed overview of the procedure, aftercare instructions, and tips for maintaining your dental implant. If additional treatments are recommended, a personalized treatment plan with estimated costs will be provided. Schedule your dental implant consultation today to restore your smile with strength and beauty! If a comprehensive exam is needed, we’ll seamlessly integrate it to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care.

Cancellation Policy

Watagan Dental Appointment & Booking Policy At Watagan Dental, appointments are reserved exclusively for each patient. This policy ensures fairness, clinical efficiency, and availability of care for our community. 1. Appointments Bookings can be made online at watagandental.com.au, by phone (02) 4977 1222, or in person during business hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm). You will receive confirmation via SMS/email. A reminder SMS is sent approximately 48 hours prior. Reminders are a courtesy — patients remain responsible for attending or rescheduling in time. 2. New Patients & Examinations All new patients must complete a medical history form prior to treatment. For medico-legal and clinical governance reasons, an examination is required to diagnose conditions and develop an appropriate treatment plan for patients who do not have a current plan in place. This may include clinical assessment and radiographs where indicated. Treatment cannot proceed without appropriate examination and diagnosis. We accept all major health funds. 3. Cancellations & Booking Fees We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Appointments missed or changed with less than 48 hours’ notice will require a non-refundable booking fee to secure future appointments. The booking fee is applied to the next visit. If another late cancellation or missed appointment occurs, the fee will be retained. Repeated occurrences may result in refusal of further bookings and recommendation to seek another provider. Exceptional circumstances may be considered at the practice’s discretion. 4. Late Arrivals Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling to avoid impacting other patients and may fall under the 48-hour policy. 5. Payments & Health Funds Payment is required on the day of treatment. We accept EFTPOS, credit/debit cards, cash, and HICAPS. Health funds are separate entities with their own policies. We do not control rebate amounts. The policy holder is responsible for understanding their cover and ensuring full payment of any gap on the day. Any rebate disputes must be directed to the health fund. Payment plans may be available by prior agreement. 6. Zero Tolerance Policy We maintain a safe and respectful environment. Abusive, aggressive, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate behaviour toward staff or patients will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse treatment, cancel appointments, decline future bookings, and involve authorities if required
